The Aero 182A 2K is powered, high performance arrayable subwoofer designed to provide low frequency reinforcement for the Aero 38A. The Aero 182A 2K offers captive rigging hardware that keeps all parts in place and makes joining one box to another, safe and simple. Moving individual units is easy thanks to the front located dolly panel.
The Aero 182A 2K uses two 18GN cone transducers for low frequency reproduction. These high power loudspeakers employ 4 in. (100 mm) edge-wound flat wire (EFW) voice coils and lightweight neodymium magnet assemblies. The speakers feature the T.A.F. cooling scheme which combines center pole piece, side slot and direct voice coil convection cooling for efficient heat evacuation.
Power for the loudspeakers is provided by two 1000 W class D amplifiers.

This year’s Orange Bowl football game between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Kansas Jayhawks was a spectacular event in and of itself, but the real action came during the much anticipated halftime show. Aero is Back in Miami
For the ninth year running, the legendary Ultra Music Festival was held in Miami. Despite the heavy rain during the event, the powered Aero line array performed effortlessly on all four stages where the systems were installed as the PA system. The two-day Ultra 2007 was held at the Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. The festival, which ran alongside the Miami Winter Music Conference, featured live acts including The Cure, Shiny Toy Guns, Miss Kittin, Brazilian Girls and Rabbit In The Moon + DJ’s Fat Boy Slim, Carl Cox and Kruder & Dorfmeisterl sabado, among others.
